About

Psychologist, builder, and careful translator.

My work centres on helping people and organizations understand the systems that shape health, behaviour, and psychological experience.

A short introduction

I’m a clinical and health psychologist based in Ontario, Canada, and Associate Director of Health Psychology at The Mindful Living Centre.

My clinical background has taught me that good psychological knowledge has to do more than sound accurate. It needs to meet people at the level of lived experience: clear enough to use, nuanced enough to trust, and careful about what it can and cannot promise.

This independent site gives me room to explore that translation outside of direct clinical care. It is where I can develop educational tools, write about areas of interest, and collaborate with people building thoughtful health and wellbeing work.

Private psychological services

My clinical practice and patient services are based at The Mindful Living Centre. To inquire about private psychological services or make a clinical referral, email aazam@mindfullivingcentre.ca.

02

Psychological ideas made visible

Interactive and graphical ways of explaining internal processes without flattening their complexity.

03
